Kinda silly… but…

I decided to put up my “birth chart”. I’ve never been a believer in this whole astrology thing, but who am I to make such sweeping judgements? Either way, it’s pretty funny to read… sounds a lot like my ENFP temprament. I really don’t know what it all means, but you can read and laugh.

Defining song of my life…

Here’s a song I was listening to, and it always makes me laugh because I’ve been here many a’ times. I feel like John Mayer and I have parallel lives… pardon the language, btw… but I like to preseve artist quality.

“Tell Me What To Say”
by: Johnny M

I know it’s early
And you hardly even know me but
I want your love so bad
So bad I’m bout to fuck it up

Could you tell me what to say?

You must have heard that line
About your eyes a million times
And now you’re holding out to hear about your chin
I bet that that could get me in, let me in

Could you tell me what to say?
Tell me what to say..

When you were young and playing princess
in your mothers dress
Into the mirror, dreaming what your prince would say.
I know you still remember to this day.

Could you tell me what to say?
tell me what to say..
Say…
tell me what to say..

And sure it’s unfair
I might lose all self-respect
those who say I should be myself
they have obviously never met you yet

So I can tell by the way your eyes roll
The way you stab the ice in your glass that its over
I see you signaling to a friend, whispering “make this end”

You should have told me what to say..
Told me What To Say..
Say..

Odd bullets for today:

First off, what’s with everyone going “Friends Only”? Maybe it’s just me and I’m silly, but I made this journal specifically for the purpose that I could get on my little soapbox and say whatever the heck I wanted to whomever I wanted and don’t really give a flip one way or the other. It’s awesome that way. If you want to send your friends messages, write an email or set up a server (Ruth, this isn’t directed to you, btw… just a general statement 😉

Secondly, they closed the IM fields on account of rain. This is saddening, mainly because intramurals will be starting up soon enough, and I really am looking forward to all that this year having a whole hall. That will be a party, and I think we will have a decent IM team this year in frisbee. School is finally on the swing and I’m excited.

Thirdly… slip and slide on the grass here at school is incredible. Fun times, fun times.

Meetings and lifting tonite. Holla.

A few minutes…

Hey all –

Time for a posty.

RA life is absolutely wonderful. I love the guys I have. Each one of them are incredibly Godly and easy going. No problems so far, and I really doubt there will be. This will be the easiest job I think I will ever have.

I went out with a young lady yesterday. It was nice to hang out with her, and look forward to doing it again. It was nice to just be able to enjoy hanging out with someone just because they’re cool and fun, without anything else. It’s refreshing.

Alas, classes start again tomorrow, which means I’ve gotta start in my grind again. All in all however, I’d have to say I’m pretty content.

I hope to really sit down and speak of my life and what’s been going on, but that will come when I have downtime (pfft)
